Company

A specialist software and data engineering firm.

Connected Intelligence exists to turn specialist operating knowledge into reliable, reusable systems.

We work with organisations whose methods, data and decisions are too important to remain fragmented across spreadsheets, documents, disconnected software and individual memory.

Why Connected Intelligence exists

Some of the most valuable expertise in an organisation is repeated every day but never properly captured.

It sits in the way an engineer interprets a measurement, an operations team resolves an exception, a financial analyst applies a rule, or a plant manager assembles a view of production from several imperfect systems.

Our role is to make the repeatable parts of that expertise explicit and build the software around them, while preserving the human judgement and accountability that should remain.

Senior-led and delivery-focused

Connected Intelligence combines operating analysis, product thinking, solution architecture, software engineering, data engineering, automation, AI and quality assurance.

Strategy and implementation remain connected. The people responsible for understanding and designing the system stay close to the build, testing and deployment.

We use a deliberately focused core team and bring in additional specialists where the requirement justifies them. Clients have direct access to the people making material technical and product decisions.

Founder

Ekene Osubor

Ekene Osubor is the founder and director of Connected Intelligence.

His work spans operational software, enterprise data, automation and technical product development across engineering inspection, manufacturing and logistics, financial services, infrastructure and research-intensive applications.

He founded Connected Intelligence to apply that cross-disciplinary experience to problems for which generic software and generic consultancy are insufficient: work that requires a close understanding of the operation, a sound technical architecture and an evidence-based route into production.

Our principles

Relevance before novelty

We use the language, evidence and operating constraints of the sector. A fashionable technology is not a substitute for a relevant solution.

Build only where bespoke work is justified

Where an established product can meet the requirement responsibly, we will say so. Bespoke software should create a material operating or strategic advantage.

Preserve the basis of the decision

A system should not merely store an outcome. Where the consequence matters, it should retain the data, rule, calculation, model, exception and review that produced it.

Design for operation and change

The system must be supportable, testable and understandable after launch. Maintainability is part of the product, not a later technical concern.

Be precise about evidence

We distinguish delivered systems, products in development, relevant prior experience and proposed solution patterns. Claims should be supportable.

Treat confidentiality as an operating requirement

Access, data handling, segregation and disclosure are considered from the beginning of an engagement.

Where we work

Connected Intelligence is based in the United Kingdom and works with UK and selected international organisations.

Our sector focus is energy and infrastructure, industrial and engineering software, financial services and manufacturing.
